Anonymous: Sorry im not trading this mug because i dont have it and i will never get it, purely because i disagree with the intention. I probably have some knock-off but i will never know if they are, maybe time will tell. I just posted it for everyone's knowledge base.
I wondered about this mug, too, when Poul showed me the picture a few weeks ago, I didn't believe it initially. Could those of you who own the Egypt mug please check the bottom of their mugs? I would especially be interested in information from those who personally bought the mug in Egypt in a Starbucks store there. Thank you very much!
I was able to get this mug. I confirm that when you look closely on the motif it shows a different printing (or how they get the motif on the mug) than amny rastal mug I own. I asked the person I got it from, he said he bought it in a Starbucks store in Egypt, and he said the Egypt stores are not operated by Starbucks directly but by a company named "Alshaya Egypt L.L.C.". Maybe they ordered replacement directly by the Chinese factory (instead through Starbucks/rastal) and sent a rastal mug as prototype...
