Greece is 11 million country in Southeast Europe. Athens is the country's capital and largest city (its urban area also including the municipality of Piraeus). This legacy is partly reflected in the seventeen UNESCO World Heritage Sites located in Greece, ranking Greece 7th in Europe and 13th in the world. The modern Greek state was established in 1830, following the Greek War of Independence. Greece has been a member of what is now the European Union since 1981 and the eurozone since 2001, NATO since 1952, and is a founding member of the United Nations. Greece is a developed country with high standards of living.

Sanctuary of Athena Pronaia is an ancient temple located in an archaeological site of Delphi, Greece on the south-western spur of Mount Parnassus in the valley of Phocisis. It is a circular building that was constructed between 380 and 360 BC. It consisted of 20 Doric columns arranged with an exterior diameter of 14.76 meters, with 10 Corinthian columns in the interior. It is located approximately 800 m from the main ruins at Delphi. Three of the Doric columns have been restored, making it the most popular site at Delphi for tourists to take photographs.
