Boracay is a small island of the Philippines located approximately 315 km south of Manila and 2 km off the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines. Boracay Island and its beaches have received awards from numerous travel publications and agencies. The island comprises the barangays of Manoc-Manoc, Balabag, and Yapak municipality of Malay, province of Aklan. Administered by Philippine Tourism Authority and the provincial government of Aklan.

Willy's Rock is a castle-like volcanic formation that dominates the seascape along White Beach. It is situated one hundred meters off shore, in the shallow water near Boat Station 1. Facing the beach are stairs leading to a chapel at the top, which contains a statue of the Virgin Mary. Willy's Rock is the most photographed landmark on Boracay and offers a commanding view of the island. On the distant horizon, Naasog Point on Panay Island can be seen.
