Kzryztof and I have agreed that it is totally redundant and unnecessary to have a tag called holiday and another called happy holidays. We keep removing the "Happy Holiday" and it keeps reappearing. Please let us make our site uniform and refrain from changing work that has already been done. Thanks!!
Hi Renee. "Krzysztof", not "Kzryztof" :)))))I always repeat "Chris" means same and is easier to everyone. :)))I certainly do think one tag is enough. Less mess. But it was your decision which one to choose.Renee you do very good job there, both correcting tags and being my spokesman ;)Speaking for myself- I say- one tag.
Ouch Chris! I thought that we spoke and agreed on this yesterday. I used the tag of either Christmas or Holiday that the person who originally entered the mug chose, and just eliminated the double of Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday. Just trying to make the site cleaner and user friendly.
Hi Renee. Yes we were discussing that and I said one tag is the best. I do not recall choosing specific one.Nevertheless I am glad today Helmut emailed clear instructions concerning the way mugs should be tagged and who does what :)I think it finally clarifies all doubts and I will follow admin direction.
Not sure what it is about the more recent element of the collectors on this site, but I have seen more public reprimanding from one collector to another than ever before on FredOrange. This site has always been for all collectors to bring their insights about each piece of the collection they're assembling to a safe and open discussion. Unfortunately with the loss of the old site we lost a nice tradition established in our communications with one another. Those assigned by Helmut to oversee the rebuild are trying to get the framework of each collection intact again and their efforts are appreciated. Let's remember our most important role in making this site a good resource for others- be kind, helpful and and respect one another. Although I am sure we are all aware that Karma is not a product of FredOrange, the choices made lately by some suggest otherwise. Temper tantrums, public outbursts that scold one another and passive aggressive retaliations via Karma points has never been part of this space before or not actions that were tolerated for long. It is time to demonstrate self-discipline, maturity and a true meaning of social interaction that is really Karma worthy (and, once again I am not talking about FredOrange Karma!). Let's lose the self-centered rants in the Comment Threads of FredOrange and get back to the hobby that brought us together on this site in the first place.
[q]Temper tantrums, public outbursts that scold one another and passive aggressive retaliations via Karma points has never been part of this space before or not actions that were tolerated for long[/q]thanks Chad for your statement. Let's keep our good manners and let's keep having fun with this hobby.
